As bizarre as his live performances, Uncle Zygote's music is as equally bizarre. He sings songs about "Booze and Eggs" and "Robots on Drugs" but maintains a credibility with his strong vocals similar to Les Claypool (Primus). Inspirations are obviously connected to the prog-rock/ experimental era which entertains the ears of anyone who is fed up with the typical repetivness of today's music. Uncle Zygote is a man with a straw hat and and demands attention with out-of-this-world lyrics and personality to boot. He previously released self-titled E.P. was recorded at Zounds of Sounds studios and he is currently recording tracks for his second E.P. due to be released in late 2011/early 2012.
